GABRIELLA ZEN
– CHOSEN FOR INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP IN VIENNA 2 – 12
October
The workshop, set up and created by
the Austrian Euro Parliamentarian and Chairwoman of the Cultural
Committee within the Parliament, Mrs. Christa Prets
(www.christaprets.at), is a meeting of artists from EVERY country of
the EU, gathering together, exchanging ideas, techniques, artistic
problems, and - of course - artistic work.
Gabriella Zen has been chosen to
represent Italy.
The workshop is located in OSLIP - a
small village close to the city of Eisenstadt (Capital of the
Department of Burgenland). Oslip is about 60 km south of Vienna.
Each composer has a studio within which they can work and there is
also an electronic studio, and the electronic studio of the ORF
(Austrian Broadcasting Cooperation) in Eisenstadt (7 km distance).
Each composer will be able to produce
a new work and participate (as a performer) in the public
presentation.
