Program of Cataloguing and Digitalizing
The activity and the international prestige of the President and the Foundation are the source of the evaluation of the counting and documentation of music parts from all over the world.
For a better use of the library we work on bringing to term the cataloguing and digitalizing to facilitate the access to work by Italian and foreign composers.
In particular, the Foundation assumes to establish the counting, the cataloguing, the conservation and the consultation of musical parts and registrations, with the aim to make them available for musicians, interprets, musicologists, researches, students, the hearing of various interpretations and the access to a historical-critical documentation of the work and the biographies of composers.
Therefore the defined documented material is:

  1. Music (musical parts, manuscripts, microfilm)
  2. Books and publications
  3. Data Base: Living Italian Composers – Italian Composers from the past – Foreign composers, living and from the past
  4. Magazinges
  5. Iconography
  6. CD, Video, Cassettes, DVD
  7. Catalogues
  8. Posters and flyers
  9. Historical Archiv of the Foundation and the movement for the “Donne in Musica”

The Foundation invites every composer to send material, which shows her activity – musical parts, programmes, articles, books, and recordings.
