Maša Živković

(born in Belgrade,1st August 1981), violist and composer. She studied viola at Belgrade Music Academy and completed her bachelor and master sudies at the Norwegain Academy of Music. She participated in different master classes and was awarded in international competitions for strings. Since 2000 she has worked as a violist in numerous prestigious orchestras (Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Oslo Baroque Orchestra, Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, Belgrade Philharmonic , St. George Strings Chamber Orchestra etc.). Her first important experience in composing was with the Norwegian band Underdogs International resulted with “Kebab opera” Sex, Drugs and Kalashnikov for which she composed viola parts. This work got excellent reviews for performances in Oslo and Trondheim. For this album she composed 12 songs in electro pop genre (Happy day, Can't promise, I care, Lions, After love, etc.).
