Tamara Macarena Valcárcel Serrano (Tamara)

(born in 1984 in Sevilla, Spain). Singer and songwriter. At 12 she signed her first recording contract with a company in Seville. In 2000, at age 16, she published her first album, "Gracias", composed of boleros and rancheras, produced by Bebu Silvetti and recorded in Miami. In the same year Juan Gabriel gave her the opportunity to do a duet titled El amor de nosotros in Ocean Vu Studies and Circle House. Siempre consolidated her career, and achieved an Ondas Award for Best Song in 2001 for Herida de amor. Her third album, Abrázame, was recorded in Miami. In 2003 she participated in the DVD "Ellas y la Magia" performing the song of Pocahontas, Colores en el viento. In 2004 she releaed Canta a Roberto Carlos performing songs like El gato que está triste y azul, Cóncavo y convexo, "Lady Laura" or La distanci". A year later, in 2005, she recorded Lo mejor de tu vida, a tribute to Julio Iglesias in which Tamara sings hits like "Hey", La Carretera or Vuela alto, that achieved a platinum. In 2006 Emociones was released, an album recorded live at the Palacio de la Música in Barcelona, which included a selection of their hits. In November 2007, Tamara released her seventh album, entitled "Perfecto", and in May 2009, she recorded her album "Amores". In March 2011 presented her work MAS, a record that paid tribute to Marco Antonio Solís and in 2012 recorded the album Encadenados. Her last album, Incondicional. A Juan Carlos Calderón", was published in November 2013.
