Alicia Terrón Batista

(born in 1954 in Málaga, Spain). Composer, conducter and teacher. She obtained the title of Superior Professor of Music Theory, music theory, transposition and accompaniment, the title of Harmony, counterpoint, and composition and the degree in Piano. As a composer, she has written works for piano, band music, orchestra, chamber and choral polyphony. Her repertoire has been interpreted throughout the national territory and in several European cities. She was conductor of the Chamber Choir Juan Vazquez for eight years and created the Municipal Band of Plasencia, which she conducted for twelve years. She is Professor of Harmony, Analysis and Fundamentals of composition at the Conservatory of Music "García Matos" Plasencia.
