Molly Teleman

(born in Norrköping, resident Norrköping/Sweden), is mainly a classical chamber composer but she also writes for larger ensembles and orchestras. As a child she began to compose songs and stories, played cornet, violin and piano and later on she also studied voice. Her music has often included different techniques, but now she is more focused on impressionistic sound creation. Teleman studied composition with David Swärd in Norrköping, Sverker Magnusson at Ingesund's Folkhögskola 2001-2003, Arvika and continued studies at the Academy of Music at Karlstad University in the composition pedagogue program 2003-2005 followed by studies at the Grieg Academy in Bergen, Norway in 2005-2007 with Morten Eide Pedersen. Here she also studied piano and voice. After her studies 2007, she worked as a culture writer in her hometown Norrrköping.
