Biljana Tomić

(Ćuprija, 25th March,1980), finished her music studies at the Mokranjać Music High School in Požarevac and graduated from the department of composition and orchestration in the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, with Milan Mihajlović. Stylistically, her works are anchored to neo-expressionism and neoclassicism and she has written for string quartet, voice and small chamber orchestra, as well as for voice and symphony orchestra. She presented her works at the KoMA Festival in Belgrade. Biljana Tomić teaches music theory and composition in the Stanković Music School in Belgrade and was one of the creators and organizers of a concert that included pop, rock and classical musical works created by the students of the department of composition in the school. Her works include: Kraj beskraja, for voice, bass clarinet, flute and piano (2003), U zimski sumrak (1999), u Smaragdne pesme, for mezzo soprano and symphony orchestra (2006) and choral work, Čisto mi srce (2001).

Cinzia Tedesco

Cantante e chitarrista classica, compositrice, interprete di musical e laureata in Informatica, è artista „a tutto tondo‟, versatile e poliedrica. Trasferitasi dalla Puglia a Roma, Cinzia incontra il jazz ed il suo talento è subito riconosciuto da pubblico e stampa: Numerose le interviste ed esibizioni live in radio (“Start – RADIO1 RAI”, “In diretta da Via Asiago”-RADIO1 RAI e “Otto Volante”- Radio 2 Rai,…) ed apparizioni televisive (“Numero 1” - RAI 1, “Il piacere dell‟Estate”- RAI 2, MIZAR-TG2, RAI News 24, Rai SAT2000, UNO MATTINA – Rai 1, TG3, SKY,…) ed esibizioni in importanti contesti tra cui Festival di Spoleto, Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival, Montalcino Jazz Fest, Umbria Jazz Winter, Crotone Jazz Fest, Monteroduni Jazz Fest , Rassegna di Pelasgia , Livorno Jazz, Festival Jazz di Calvì in Corsica, Casa del Jazz, Auditorium Parco della Musica di Roma, SALT Jazz Festival , Notte di Stelle (Teatro Sistina), Serravalle Summer Nights Jazz, Rassegna JazzOP, Jazz Keller di Francoforte. Collabora con la Roma Jazz Ensemble di Pietro Iodice e Mario Corvini, nota anche come PMJO (Parco della Musica Jazz Orchestra), con Carl Anderson, Javier Girotto, Dominique di Piazza, Luigi Giannatempo, l‟Orchestra Jazz della Sardegna, … e lavora in teatro con Piera Degli Esposti nel musical “Fin De Siecle”. Cinzia Tedesco è stata nominata “Ambasciatore di Pace” del Centro Internazionale di Pace di Assisi (ONLUS riconosciuta dall‟ONU).

Dobrinka Tabakova

(born in 1980, in Plovdiv, Bulgaria), composer. She won the Jean-Frederic Perrenoud Prize of the 4th International Competition of Music in Vienna when she was 14 years old. She studied at Alleyn’s School London and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Afterwards  she was awarded a Ph.D in composition from King’s College, London. She studied composition under Simon Bainbridge, Diana Burrell, Robert Keeley and Andrew Schultz. Tabakova’s composition have been performed at the Cheltenham Music Festival, the international Festival of composition at the Paris Conservatoire, Kremerata Baltica Latvia, Lockenhaus Festival Austria, International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht and others. Her “Praise”was sung at St.Paul’s Cathedral to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. She won the GSMD Lutoslawski Composition Prize in 1999 and the Adam Prize of King’s College London for the song cycle Sonnets to Sundry Notes of Music in 2007. Her works have been performed in Bulgaria, Britain, Russia and throughout Europe. She has worked with orchestras including Academy of St.Martin in the Fields, Kammerorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Amsterdam Sinfonietta, Orchestra of the Swan and BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Her works have been performed especially by the violist maxim Rysanov.
