Nina Perović

(born in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 20th century) composer. After completing the Secondary Music School in Kotor, Montenegro, she entered The Academy of Music in Cetinje in 2004. Having received two Degrees of Bachelor (Piano and Composition) and two Specialization Degrees (Piano teaching training and Composition) from respective departments of the Academy and she went on to do her Master studies in Composition in Slovenia, as an exchange student. She is currently doing postgraduate studies in Composition (Master Degree) at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. Her compositions have been performed in Italy, Slovenia, Montenegro and Serbia.
Awards: The Best Academy Student Award, 2006-2007; The Best Academy Student Award, 2007-2008; The Best Student of Arts of Montenegrin University; Basileus Scholarship (Erasnmus Mundus Partnership), 2009-2010; Slovenian State Scholarship, 2010-2011
