Clara Maïda

(born in France, 1963, resident in Paris and Berlin), composer. She turned to music composition after studying psychology (1982-86) and music (1st Prizes in piano, CNR Nice in Anne Quéfellec class, 1983 and composition, CNR Marseille, 1997- and National Diploma for piano teaching -1995). She has attended master classes and composition courses with Helmut Lachenmann, Philippe Manoury, Gérard Grisey  and Tristan Murail (Acanthes Centre, 1999, 1996, 1993 and 1992) and Marco Stroppa  ( Paris CNSM, 1999-2001). Laureate of Hors Les Murs program (French Institute, Paris, 2012) and guest of the Artists-in-Berlin program of the DAAD (2007-08), her other awards are : Kompositionspreis der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart 2011, Berlin-Rheinsberger Kompositionspreis, Musica Nova (Finalist), Earplay (Honorable Mention) in 2008, Prix Ars Electronica, 2007 (Honorary Mention), the Akademie der Künste grant (Berlin, 2006), Salvatore Martirano Memorial 2nd Prize (2003). Since 1997, she has received commissions or residencies from Donaueschinger Musiktage, Paris GRM, French Ministry of Culture and L’Itinéraire, Accroche Note, Proxima Centauri ensembles and Arditti quartet, French SACEM, DAAD, Akademie der Künste and Electronic Studio of the Technische Universität (Berlin), Marseille GMEM. Her pieces have been performed by numerous ensembles in many festivals all around the world. She has given lectures and conferences in various institutions in France, Germany and New York.

Claudia Montero

(born on 10th September 1983 in Buenos Aires, Argentina). Composer and Pedagogue. She studied in Alberto Ginastera Conservatory in Buenos Aires, graduating in Musical Pedagogy and Composition. She has been invited to Musical Festivals as composer and lecturer. She has participated in International Musical Festivals like Cagliari (Italy), "A Orillas del Guadalquivir"("At the Banks of the Guadalquivir") (Spain), Ayamonte Musical Festival (Spain), "From the End of the World"(Taiwán) 2008, and At the End of the World 2ª Edition bahía Blanca. Argentina 2009, Gitarreland Festival 2010 (Germany and France) with openings and first auditions of her works. She has given seminars about Argentinian Chamber Music in Conservatories in Trieste, Cagliari and Udine in Italy, at Alcalá University, Spain, during the Iberoamerican Meetings "Women in Art" (2002), Tsing Hua University (Taiwán) 2008. Since 2002, She has been living in Valencia, where she has attended the Master in Musical Aesthetics and Creativity (Valencia University). As Founder and President of "Women in Art" Association in Valencia, her aim is the promotion and diffusion of works carried out by Women in Art, giving concerts and conferences at the Music Palau in Valencia and a monographic conference and concerts. In 2008 she initiated cooperation with violinist Yi-Fang Huang in the creation of the O2 Platform of Cultural Exchanges, and their joint performances included the 2008 series "From the End of the World" in Taiwan, 2009 in Argentina, and with the projecte in South Africa in 2010. Also under their handling, is the "Chinese New Year Concert" in Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg simultaneosly. At present she teachs Composition in Joaquín Rodrigo Superior Conservatory of Music of Valencia.

Concepción Mendivil

(born in 1980 in Helsinki, Finlandia, resident in Spain). Singer and songwriter. In 2001 she recorded her first demos, shared the stage with the new generation of songwriters and participated in collective projects such as the fifteen new songwriters, released by the studio Gran Vía, combining this with her studies of teaching children and her work as a teacher. In 2006 one of her demos came to the label Nena Music who offered to record her first album. The album was released in February 2007 under the title Nada más. Her second album, entitled 4,000 palabras, was released in March 2009. In 2010 Conchita released an EP, entitled Tocando Madera through ITunes and in May 2012 she went on sale New Shoes.
