María Eugenia Luc de Cazzaniga

(born in Rosario, Argentina, on 6th December 1958). Composer and teacher. She studied music at Rosario National University (Argentina), the L.I.P.M (Research and Production Music Laboratory Buenos Aires – Argentina), Contemporary Civic Music School in Milan (Italy) and the National Music School (France, 1995-1998), Paris University (France), and the Basque University in Spain. Her works have been awarded on numerous occasions. She is currently professor at the Basque Fine Arts University and MUSIKENE (High School Music). She was KURAIA President (Bilbao Contemporary Music Group) since its founding in 1997 until 2000. From 2001 and continuing today she is Artistic Director of KLEM (KURAIA Electroacoustic and Multimedia Laboratory) where she developed an extensive research, training and dissemination of new streams of sound art and interdisciplinary creating.

Maria Lithell Flyg

(born in Snättringe/ Vårberg, 1965, resident Stockholm/Sweden), is a composer in the pop music as well as classical music fields. She sang in choirs as a child and she also wrote her own songs and lyrics. During her years in high school she got her first job as a vocalist when she started to sing in the choir at the Royal Opera in Stockholm. Here she worked for 11 years from 1986-1997. In 1997 – 2001 she studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. In 2005 she started her own record label and in 2006 released her debut album Blessing and Curse. In 2010 Lithell Flyg began her composition studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. She has written music for choir, chamber and orchestra and her music has been performed by the Swedish Radio Choir and Stockholm Wind Ensemble. Her music has also been broadcast on Swedish Radio. In her pop music you can hear influences from both the singer/song writer tradition as well as from the classical tradition. Lithell Flyg composes, produces, arranges her pop music herself and often uses "classical" instrument such as bassoon, marimba and strings.

Maria Löfberg

(born in Stenungsund, resident Glommen/Sweden), is a singer, church musician and composer. She grew up in a family who were not into music but were convinced in an early age that music was the occupation she wanted. She started to write her own songs as a child and educated herself with church musicians at Geijerskolan in Ransäter, After this education she worked two years as a church musician in Värmland. That led her to further studies at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg where she studied in 1992-97 with Mikael Wallin, organ, Birgitta Bergström, vocals, and Sven Ahlin and Bengt Lundin, composition and syntax. She graduated with a Master's Degree in 1997. Her focus was on composition, choir conducting as well as vocals. She is especially interested in Gregorian and baroque as well as contemporary music. After graduation she worked as an organist in different parishes in Sweden such as Tuve 97-2000, Lerum 2000- 2005 and Morup 2005-. Löfberg has been an active composer ever since her studies she likes writing in different genres such as musical, symphonic music as well as sacral music. She likes working as a choir director and as a conductor, and works with young people as well as with professionals. She is also booked as a choir coach. She is a menber of FST (Association of Swedish Composers). In 2007 she founded Morups Musikdagar, a music event where contemporay music is presented and performed.
