Martina Kachlovà

(born in 1990, in Zlin, in Czech Republich, resident in Czech Republic), composer. From 2005 to 2011 she studied piano at the Pavel Josef Vejvanovsky Conservatoire in Kromeriz in the class of. Jana Spanhelova and Zdenek Mucha. Simultaneously she was receiving the private lessons of composition by Miloslav Bubeniček and et. Ingrid Silna, at the Conservatory and private lessons of composition by František Emmert. From 2009 to 2012 she studied composition in Bachelor Degree at Janaček Academy of Music and performing Arts in Brno in the class of František Emmert. Her graduating piece is called Quattro stagioni-pizza for string orchestra. She has also teaches in elementary musical schools (piano, composition), since 2011, which she started in Brno and now she is continuing in Bratislava.

Awards: 4th prize in Generace 2010 (composition, the Solar Eclipse - chamber ensemble), 3nd prize in International Dulcimer Festival (composition, The Violet Sky - tuba, dulcimer).
