Helle Henning

(born in 1962, in Denmark), singer/song-writer. She is the leader of her own group, with members such as Nikolaj Hess, Jonas Johansen and Christina von Bülow. She worked also with Al Jarreau, Marie Bergman, Erann DD, Etta Cameron, Cecilie Norby, Jesper Bodilsen, Daniel Frank, Debbie Cameron, Jørgen Emborg, Frands Rifbjerg a.m.o. She made two recordings as leader, several as sideman. She wrote music for radio (DR) and worked as a studiosinger on many various projects. She works as a director and BG-singer on cartoons and has toured in Sweden, Germany, Austria and Denmark. She is associate professor at The Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, Southern Denmark.

Awards: She won prize in KODA competition for the best children's song in Denmark (2006).
