María José Hernández

(born in Zaragoza, Spain, on 1966). Singer and composer. In 1997 María José Hernández released her first album "La línea del cielo" accompanied by Luis Delgado and Javier Bergia. In 2001 she released "El mar del deseo" and in 2006 "Círculos concéntricos". She has collaborated with her voice and her songs in groups like Cornamusa ("La baraja"), the animation group Los Titiriteros de Binéfar ("A tapar la calle"), Javier Bergia ("Noche infinita" and "25 años"), Gabriel Sopeña ("Orillas" and "Una ciudad para la paz") and Jose Antonio Labordeta ("Paisajes" and "Con la voz a cuestas"). She has also worked on soundtracks for plays, highlighting "El Siglo". She has collaborated with Miguel Ángel Berna for his dance company where she composed some of the music for the shows "Solombra", "Tierra de Dragón" and "Mudéjar", also composed "Alma de luna" for the dancer Maite Bajo. In late June 2011 she released her album "Señales de humo".
