Ida Gotkovsky

(resident in France), composer. She lived in a family of musicians. Her studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris earned her prizes in harmony, fugue, counterpoint and composition. Her works are performed in Europe, in the U.S.A, in Japan, in URSS, etc. They are received as ambassadors of French Culture. All her works have been commissioned by the State.

Awards: prize Lily Boulanger, prize Blumenthal; first prize of referendum Pasdeloup; International prize; Medal of the city of Paris; Grand Prix Musical of the city of Paris; two awards of Institut de France; Golden Rose (USA); prize on the SACEM.
