Marybel Dessagnes

(born in 1970, Toulon, France), composer, arranger. She comes from a family of musicians and began playing the piano at the age of four. She won first prizes (piano, chamber music, harmony, counterpoint, fugue, conducting, composition) at the National Conservatory of Marseille and the SACEM prize. She obtained the Certificate of Aptitude as professor of art education. She first taught first in Antibes and the Regional Conservatory of Annecy and finally at the Conservatoire in Cannes Departmental the disciplines, writing/composition, analysis, musical training, harmonization keyboard and chamber music. Composer and arranger, member of the SACEM, in her creations she favors originality and new experiences, communication with others, humor and extravagance, emotion and sharing, while assuming various music influences, contemporary music of Eastern Europe, alternative pop-rock, ragas of North India. Her ongoing research in educational innovation pushed her to write the method Jeu de l'ouïe, Tous créateurs! (in three volumes, published by Billaudot ).
