Mirjana Šistek Đorđević

(Belgrade, 23rd July, 1935), studied composition with Stanojlo Rajičić in the Music Academy in Belgrade and spent most of her working years as a professor at the Mokranjać Music School. Her early works show an author still firmly in the sound world of late romanticism, but in the mid-seventies she made a stylistic turn towards more contemporary language. Her most important works are String quartet (1963), Piano concerto (1969), Poema bez naslova, for orchestra (1970), Tražim pomilovanje, for narrator, female choir and orchestra (1977), Kolizija, for 12 flutes, 4 double basses and piano (1978), Nokturno, for organ (1979), Sedam aplikacija, for string quartet and Pojanja, for large flute ensemble.

Monica Dominique

(born 1940 in Västerås, Sweden resident Stockholm) is a pianist, composer, arranger, musical director, variety artist and actress. When Dominique was five years old her family moved to Stockholm and when she was nine she was enrolled in Adolf Fredrik Music School. She was educated at Royal College of Music in Stockholm and graduated as musical director and piano pedagogue. During the years she has been playing music in many different genres but mainly jazz. She has been the leader of many different bands. Dominique also plays the classical repertoire often for four hands, together with her husband and pianist Carl-Axel Dominique. In 1969, together with her husband, she formed the music group Solar Plexus where vocalist Tommy Körberg was also a member. Dominique was a member of the legendary vocal group Gals & Pals from 1967-69. As a composer she has written music for film, theatre, Big Band, choir and a large number of songs. One of her most played compositions is the theme song to Rapport (The News on Swedish TV). One of her most appreciated songs are Tillägnan (Dedication) which was composed for her trio and their LP from 1980. The trio was together with her brother Palle Danielsson on double bass and Leroy Lowe on drums. Together with her husband she wrote Sommaren som aldrig säger nej – which represented Sweden in Eurovision Contest in 1972. Both Tillägnan and Sommaren som aldrig säger nej with lyrics by Lars Forsell. The fall of 2008 her opera Silosång with libretto by Fanny Danielsson was premiered. As an actress she has contributed in films, TV-shows and she has also worked as a TV host.

Nataša Danilović

(born in Podgorica, Montenegro, 13th August 1973) pianist and composer. She studied at the Music Academy in Podgorica and obtained a degree in piano in 1995. She completed specialist studies in Chamber Music at the Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade in 1997 and master studies of Chamber Music at the Music Academy in Cetinje in 2007. She has been working intensively as a piano collaborator and a chamber musician and is engaged as an assistant teacher for Chamber Music at the Music Academy in Cetinje.
