Alicia Coduras Martínez

(born in Barcelona, Spain, 1958). Composer and conducter. She studied piano with P. Vallribera and guitar with the maestro's widow Tanyó at the Liceo High Music Conservatory. She later followed advanced studies in musicology, composition and instrumentation, music education and conducting at the Barcelona Municipal Music Conservatory. She has been chief conductor of CSMMB's Antoni Nicolau Orchestra and the "Four Strings" Chamber Orchestra chief conductor for two years. She is currently the Pompeu Fabra University ensemble director.
