Anita Camarella

(born 14th October 1974 in Varese, Italy), singer, author of texts and composer. She graduated in violin in 1993 from the "Civico Liceo Musicale" in Varese (Italy) with R. Girelli and G. Rimonda, then she studied modern singing with Roberta Gambarini, Laura Fedele, Patrizia Conte, Daniela Rando and Jenna Ricci. She also partecipated in seminars "Musica Antica" with Marco Ferrari, "Fisiologia, Pedagogia ed Estetica della Voce", "Voice Craft – Voice Training Systems", with Jo Estill and James Heiner. Her repertoire ranges from Renaissance sacred polyphony to jazz and she has worked with the "Coro polifonico Santa Maria del Monte"and the "Florilegio Ensemble". From 2000 she performed in Duo with the guitarist Davide Facchini, with whom she participated in the "Guitars for Life" festival in New York and performed in a tournée in Tunisia in 2003.
Recordings: In 2007 she participated in the "Women Way", American compilation dedicated to female voices.
