Caterina Calderoni

(born 19th July 1963 in Ravenna, Italy, resident in Milan) composer. She first studied piano with Daniel Rivera and composition with Bruno Bettinelli, then she continued her studies with Franco Donatoni and attending composition and musical informatics courses at the IRCAM in Paris (1995) and at the AGON in Milan (2002). She has composed film music and soundtracks for RAI productions. From 1988 to 1999 she worked in the redazione musicale of Casa Ricordi, Milan, in the Critical Editions and Contemporary Music section. She teaches at the "Giuseppe Nicolini" Conservatory in Piacenza (Italy)
