Monic Cecconi-Botella

Composer, conductor, was born in Courbevoie, France, on the 30/09/1936. She won the Premier Grand Prix de Rome for musical composition in 1965 and was a teacher at the National Superior Conservatory of music and dance of Paris from 1982 to 2002. She created the concerts « L’Itinéraire » and has been artistic counsellor for the city of Enghien-les-Bains. She wrote many chamber music, many pieces for voice, several operas. Living since 2004 in Provence (Luberon) she is regularly member of several juries, gives lectures accompanied with music and has creagted Les Saisons de la voix, series of concerts, master-classes, about lied and melody, to help young talented singers.
