Nélida Béjar

(born in Munich, Germany, 1979) composer and pianist. She began her musical studies in Rincón de la Victoria (Málaga) studying piano. At thirteen she went to Munich where she finished her studies in piano at the Münchener Musikhochschule Lehramt Musik für Gymnasien and began his training in composition at the Richard - Strauss- Konservatorium, with Wilfried Hiller. In 2006 she began her doctorate studies in composition at Trinity College Dublin with Donnacha Dennehy. She was commissioned the music for the work Exodus of the European Theatre Project, that was interpreted in Malta, Catania, Vienna , Munich and Warsaw.
