Sandrine Baranski

(born in Paris, 18th November 1965) composer, musicologist. She initially studied cello for ten years with Odette Corne and harmony with Franck Zigante at the Music Conservatory of Roubaix. She then studied musical composition with Ricardo Mandolini and improvised music with Fred Van Hove. She pursued electronic music studies with Hans Ulrich Humpert at the Musikhochschule Köln, Germany. She participated in a workshop entitled “Audiovisual and multimedia production” at the Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (Argentina) directed by Oscar Pablo Di Liscia. She is Doctor in Musicology at the University Charles de Gaulle Lille 3. Her music is essentially devoted to the use of contemporary musical materials.
