Tanja Brüggemann

(born 15 September 1970 in Linz, Austria).

She had her first piano lessons at the age of five at the Bruknerkonservatorium in Linz, and then followed by studies in piano, jazz piano, composition and musicology in Linz and Vienna, and studied composition in London. At the Bruknerkonservatorium she  also completed the Linz Studium for the Pedagogy Instruments and has taught since 1995 in the Music school in upper Austria. She was also active in the music project sound switching networks. She attended Master classes with Jose Manuel Lopez , Fabio Nieder and Klaus Huber. Within the framework of Erasmus, she studied in Lodz, Poland with composer Zygmunt Krauze and electroacoustic composition with Krzysztof Knittel and there she finished, her  post-graduate study for film and audiovisual composition of  Academy of Music. From 2011 she graduated with honors in the Bachelor's program with Adriana Holszky, as well as music theory and counterpoint with  Alexander Muller Bach at the Mozarteum Univeristat Salzburg Since 2012, she has pursued a master's degree in Taristan Murali.
