Laura de los Ángeles

(born 1986 in Sevilla, Spain) composer and pianist. She grew up surrounded by artists such as Manolo Soler, Jesus Bola, Quique Paredes, and was motivated by flamenco by the stories the people told her of the artists of Seville (Vallejo, Manolo Caracol, The girl combs ... ). She began her musical training at 11 years old at the Conservatorio Elemental de Triana, later at the Conservatorio "Cristobal de Morales" in Seville, and finally began her studies in the Specialty of Flamenco in Cordoba. She has been part of a variety of musical projects, specializing mainly in the cajón and flamenco piano. In December 2007 the artist Nando Juglar decided to produce her first album El Callejón del Agua, whose was recorded in March 2008, under the direction and music production of Jesús Bola and special collaboration like that of Antonio Carrión on guitar. The promotion of El Callejón del Agua has led her to present her show in Madrid at the Teatro Lara, Teatro Español y el Teatro Madrid, as well as in France, Colombia, Sweden, Norway, Italy and Costa Rica. In the spring of 2012 their second disc, Mi nueva esperanza was released inspired by her recent motherhood with the direction of Jesus Bola.

Awards: "El callejón del agua" has been awarded numerous accolades: nominated for the 13th Edition of the Music Awards for Best Flamenco Album and finalist in the "Premios Hoy" as best instrumental Album.
