Inmaculada Almendral

(born 22 March 1954 in Madrid, Spain) pianist and composer. She writes especially scenic music, working with companies like Atalaya, Histrión Teatro or Teatro del Velador. She composed a collective work with ten other Spanish composers, entitled Castle, tribute to the composer Manuel Castillo. She took part in the course "Women and contemporary music creation", in the IV Festival de Música Española of Cadiz in 2006 and sponsored by the Instituto Andaluz de la Mujer. She has taught at the conservatories of Triana and Jaen and is a member of the Comisión de Música de la Empresa Pública de Gestión de Programas Culturales de Andalucía.
