Olatz Ayastuy Alegria

(born in Bilbao, Spain, 10 July 1961) composer, harpsichordist, teacher. She studied composition, harpsichord, specialized in teaching music theory and teaching piano. She taught special music theory at the Conservatory of Irun (1987) and, from 1988, was professor of repentización, transposition and accompaniment in the Conservatory of Music of Bilbao. She has taught teacher training courses organized by the Basque Government and worked as harpsichordist with different groups

Awards: She obtained an accésit in the composition competition "Jesus Guridi" of the Diputación Foral of Alava (1986).

Paola Arnesano

(Bari, 1969), cantante, compositrice. Dopo studi classici esordisce nel jazz alla fine degli anni '80. Studia pianoforte, arrangiamento, innamorata del samba e della bossanova, ne studia lingua e repertorio fondando i gruppi“Abrasileirado” e “Trio de Janeiro”. Affronta progetti originali come la rivisitazione in chiave jazz di canzoni italiane degli anni 40; ottiene il secondo posto del premio “Urbani” e collabora con Franco Cerri, Tiziana Ghiglioni, Maria Pia De Vito. La sua attivita' l'ha portata in tutta Europa. Fa parte del quartetto vocale “Faraualla” che collabora con musicisti come Noa e Daniele Sepe. E' insegnante presso la scuola “Il Pentagramma” di Bari dal 1993.

(born in Bari, Italy), although she is a doctor in Statistics and economic Science, she prefers to study singing with the soprano Maria Grazia Pani, Jazz Harmony with Guido Di Leone, piano with Vito Di Modugno and Nico Marziliano, Arrangement for Big Bands with Luigi Giannatempo, jazz singing with Mark Murphy. She recorded with Mark Murphy the CD “Hearing rhapsody”, “Memorie d’Italy” with  Gianluca Petrella and “Defra’” with Dado Moroni. She collaborated with, among others, Stefano Bollani, Fabrizio Bosso, Gianni Basso, Franco Cerri.

Patricia Sucena Almeida

Was born in 1972 and studied Electroacoustic Music and Composition with João Pedro Oliveira. In 1997 she finished her degree in Music Teaching from the University of Aveiro (Portugal). From 1992 to 1997 she studied piano and in 1998, she graduated with a master's degree in Composition from Edinburgh University. She started a doctorate program in Composition at City University of London and she finished her PhD in Southampton University. She has participated in seminars and workshops like "IRCAM`s Académies d'été and the "40th International en Ferenkursen fur Neue Musik - 2000" in Darmstadt.
